At the draft, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development proposed sanctioning violations in production, processing, trading in livestock feed and seafood containing antibiotics as follows: Fine from 10 to 20 million VND One of the following behaviors: Producing, processing, trading, importing animal feed containing antibiotics without specifying name and antibiotic content, use instructions, time of stopping use on the package. Or accompanying documents; Producing, processing, trading, importing animal feed containing other antibiotics with the content prescribed or announcing on the goods label 5% or more; Trading seafood containing antibiotics.
A fine of between VND 20-30 million shall be imposed for one of the following acts: Producing, processing, trading in or importing animal feeds containing antibiotics for the purpose of stimulating the growth of cattle and poultry Not included in the list of antibiotics allowed for use in animal feed.
As well as the production, processing, trading and import of antibiotic-based animal feeds for the purpose of curing diseases of domestic animals and poultry and prevention of unprocessed poultry and poultry by doctors. Veterinary medicine has a certificate of practicing prevention and treatment of animals in accordance with the law on veterinary medicine.
And the production, processing, trading, import of each antibiotic animal feed product is not suitable for each animal species, the purpose of use, the duration of use, causing the antibiotic residue to exceed the limit Allowed in livestock products and do not affect antibiotic resistance in the treatment of human and animal diseases; Producing, processing, trading, importing feed containing more than 2 types of antibiotics in a feed product; Producing, processing, importing aquaculture feed containing antibiotics.
For violations of the use of banned substances in husbandry or aquaculture; The Ministry proposes to impose fines as follows: Fine from 50 to 70 million VND for violations of the use of each substance prohibited in breeding, aquaculture Not subject to criminal prosecution. A fine of between VND 70 million and 100 million shall be imposed for acts of violating the use of each banned substance in the production, processing and sale and purchase of animal feeds or aquatic products with a total value of under 100 million feed products.
